<P>I totally agree with you about not funding the airlines. It is job of the airlines to make sure the planes are safe not the taxpayers. We do not pay Kellogg Cereal to make sure nobody puts cyanide in the corn flakes. We do not pay small business retailers when TV sales go down. Nor do we pay used car sales people when they can't sell cars that get 10 MPH because of increasing gas prices. If the Airlines want to remain in business then they need to follow the rules and suffer the costs along with every other business in a free capitalist market. I am tired of paying taxes to fund airlines, let the rich people flying in first class pay for them, not people that don't fly on them. They want to fly, they can pay the cost of flying, I drive, and nobody pays my cost of driving.</P>
