This Thursday at 1:00PM, Mark Boyle will be presenting during our Zoom
Conference.



A description with Zoom information follows;



I am very excited to have my colleague and friend, Mark Boyle, speak at our
next Hot Topic call on November 5 at 1:00 PM EST regarding Florida Statute
624.1055.

Florida House Bill 301, now Florida Statute 624.1055 (2020), is a game
changing statutory revision allowing contribution among liability insurers
for defense costs. Prior to its passage Florida was one of only two
jurisdictions that disallowed co-primary insurers from suing each other to
recover defense costs. This presentation will discuss why the statue was
needed, how it will work in practice, and how other jurisdictions have
handled these legal issues.
