Folks,

I hope everyone remains well and healthy as the world begins to open back up.  And here's a friendly reminder that our next meeting for the Insurance & Surety Committee is on Monday, June 15, 2020 - beginning at 12 Noon (Eastern).  And to make things even more interesting, we are going to attempt our first Zoom meeting on Monday - more on that below.

We have a great presentation lined up for everyone on Monday.  Our speaker will be Edward ("Ed") J. Page, a shareholder with Carlton Fields out of their Tampa office, and his presentation is called: "The Drones are Coming! And Related Insurance Issues."  Mr. Page is a former federal and state prosecutor with more than 38 years of legal experience, and he has tried more than 100 jury trials in state and federal courts and more than 250 bench trials.   Mr. Page handles federal and state criminal and civil matters, including white collar criminal, aviation, product liability, personal injury, family law, and complex commercial litigation matters. He is also an instrument-rated commercial pilot and flight instructor, and provides legal representation to pilots, mechanics, drone operators, and others involved in aviation matters, including FAA enforcement actions, TSA matters, airport matters, civil disputes, insurance, taxes, aircraft ownership, and U.S. Customs matters.

Attached for Monday's call are the following: (1) the agenda for today's meeting; (2) meeting minutes from our May 18, 2020 meeting; and (3) a PDF of Mr. Page's PowerPoint for the CLE Presentation.  We will also be attempting to share PowerPoint over Zoom as well.

As mentioned above, we will be trying out Zoom for this month's meeting.  Below is the Zoom link and related login info.
