Greetings, Selkirk Members!

Today during our field trip I was informed of some public meetings
regarding the Idaho Panhandle National Forests' (IPNF) Proposed Land
Management Plan. Unfortunately since I've been out of the loop for awhile,
some of the meetings have already taken place. However, several meetings
are scheduled this next week that many of you might be able to attend. I've
posted the dates and locations below. For further details see the
Kootenai-IPNF Website at http:www.fs.fed.us/kipz/index.php . As some of
you may remember, we've discussed this Land Management (or Forest) Plan
before and many of you thought we should get involved with the public
collaboration process. You should be able to download the draft plan off of
the website. Perhaps we can discuss this plan at the annual meeting, or at
least the potential of creating an IESAF response. Hope you're able to
attend some of the meetings. I believe we need to respond to the proposed
plan by sometime in August. Thanks! We'll see you at the annual meeting!
