I am writing to let you know that the Nature Conservancy along with =
Idaho Fish and Game, Kootenai County, and BLM are having a public Weed =
Awareness Day this Saturday, June 3rd at Cougar Bay Preserve in Coeur =
d'Alene.  I thought this is a subject that SAF members might be =
interested in.  I have attached the flyer in case you would be willing =
to pass the information along.  Thanks!

Kootenai County Noxious Weed Control Department and The Nature =
Conservancy

Topics to be addressed include:=20

    1)Weed identification and the new invaders to the area;=20

    2)How an integrated weed management plan can help landowners manage =
weeds;=20

    3)The role of introduced and native biological agents for weed =
management; and=20

    4)The effects of weeds on wildlife and native species.=20

Whether you are a landowner with 5 acres, 1,500 acres or more, a =
sportsman or outdoor enthusiast, you are encouraged to attend this =
event.=20

Refreshments and reference materials will be provided. The event is free =
to the public, but individuals are encouraged to pre-register so that =
