Good afternoon CLC and I hope everyone is having a great weekend and getting used to writing “2026” on things…. It’s probably far too dangerous to comment on the college football playoffs (or the season), so I won’t venture into that territory, other than to note that the W&L Generals finished up 7-4, including a win over traditional rival Hampden-Sydney, ending up third in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference. Exciting news in Pensacola this week with SailGP establishing its North American training base here at the newly completed American Magic High Performance Center (built by one of our good GC clients). The CLE is entitled: On Ethical and Cultural Considerations in Pro Bono Representation of Small Business Clients. This program will be a joint presentation hosted by the Business Law Section Pro Bono Committee, the RPPTL At-Large Member Pro Bono Committee, and the CLC Pro Bono Subcommittee. Substantive discussion will take place regarding methods of pro bono delivery, as well as the process and criterion of the qualification of non-profits and small businesses.
