[RPPTL-constructionlaw] CLC/ISC Joint Special Meeting / Miami EC Meeting / Discuss re CLC Legislative Initiative and HB 295

Folks,

In addition to our regularly scheduled meeting this next Monday, the CLC will be having a special joint meeting with the Insurance and Surety Committee tomorrow, November 8, 2019 at 3:30 p.m.  The agenda for that meeting is attached.  The meeting will be limited to a discussion of the CLC’s draft lien law bill and its status as well as two bills recently introduced in the legislature relating to construction defects and Chapter 558 (HB 295) and regarding recovery of attorney’s fees on first party property claims under Section 627.428 (HB 359).

I apologize for the short notice.  But those able to join us are invited to call-in on the number on the attached agenda.  We look forward to a lively discussion.
