Dear Fellow CLC Members: I need a little help in regards to the process
and forms for filing an attorney's charging lien. Long story made short,
client racks-up a large bill with my firm. Partner recently left firm
and took file ( I know - I shouldn't have released the file without
getting paid first but I think that the client has a great case and my
ex-partner was doing a great job in the representation).

I need to file this attorney's charging lien so that I get paid out of
the proceeds of the case. I'm not a total mooch - I've done a little
research. The Florida Bar Ethics Department issued an information
packet as to attorney liens which has been some help. I'm really
looking for a charging lien form and instruction on the filing process.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Please direct your replies to my
personal (and egotistical) email address of atritt at atritt.com.
Thanks, Arnie.
