Long story made short, client racks-up a large bill with my firm. Partner recently left firm and took file ( I know - I shouldn’t have released the file without getting paid first but I think that the client has a great case and my ex-partner was doing a great job in the representation). <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>I need to file this attorney’s charging lien so that I get paid out of the proceeds of the case. I’m not a total mooch – I’ve done a little research. The Florida Bar Ethics Department issued an information packet as to attorney liens which has been some help. I’m really looking for a charging lien form and instruction on the filing process. <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Any help is greatly appreciated.
