If you processed the recording of the deed without utilizing a service, such as a complany requested by you to do an electronic recording as a service, and if you paid the recording fee (that would be more $), there is no other charge that requests subsequent payment that I have heard about. There are across the country quite a few legitimate title companies that use that name. I don't know of one in WA.
A scan of the form with client name and property redacted might be helpful to the listserve.

I recorded a Quit Claim Deed for a client a few weeks ago. This morning she received a card in the mail from "Home Title Services" demanding payment for that recording in the amount of $285
Never seen that one before. Just FYI.
