It looks like Proof.com just uses Notarize.com, which is probably the most common online notary platform. I don't know about King County, but I've not had issues in Clark County filing electronically notarized QCDs.

I never heard of proof.com but there are many Remote online Notaries (RON) in places like Florida, Virginia, and Tennessee.  I have had deeds recorded that were notarized by a RON in Washington State.

 

It’s the full faith and credit clause that operates here, and as long as the document was validly notarized by an out of state notary, they will accept it.

Hi Listmates,

 

Has anyone had any experience with King County and quit claim deeds being accepted that are electronically notarized through websites such as Proof.com? Client is asking if this is a viable alternative
 to mobile notary since some signers are out of pocket.
