Subject: [WSBARP] Tax Attorney Needed
We have a client who is a homebuilder who seems to be in a major tussle with the IRS. They were assessed millions in unpaid taxes. Apparently, there is an issue as to how certain costs of sale are accounted for staging, etc….
Their CPA has been working the problem and got the assessment more than cut in half. That CPA says that he can do nothing else and an experienced tax attorney is needed. Not in litigation yet, but may be headed there.
Any referrals, including self-referrals are welcome.
