[WSBARP] Referral for Claim Against Designer Involved in Basement Renovation

Colleagues,

I need to refer a PC who contacted me to consult about a possible negligence claim against a “designer.”  I performed a quick search for the individual named in the contract and could not locate any licensing information or an account with the DOR.  The scope of work involved design layout and permit plans.  This is a basement renovation project for a single-family residence located in Tacoma.  PC has been encouraged by a new designer and multiple inspectors to pursue claims against the initial designer.  I don’t have capacity to take this on.  Please let me know if you can assist or know of someone who can assist.  PC is looking to consult ASAP is willing to pay for the consultation.
