[WSBARP] Seeking attorney in Austin area, Williamson County, TX

A reach, yes.

PC client was awarded a house in Texas.

Her and her ex-husband's names were on the deed.
He refused to sign over the deed.
There is a HELOC tied to the home.
After the divorce, the Ex H continued to borrow on the HELOC, which was in his name only. The bank refused to provide PC with records and would not freeze the account after receiving a certified copy of the Divorce Order.  Dollars not available to recover from Ex H, spent on 'gambling and drugs'.

TX Bank stated they do not recognize a WA order in TX.

Since the divorce, Ex H charged hundreds of thousands of dollars via the HELOC. The house was going to foreclosure for non-payment of the HELOC.
The bank contacted PC with offer for PC  to catch up with payments and keep house out of foreclosure.

House was sold. Divorce order was registered in TX in 12/2024.

Seeking referral to a TX attorney who could assist with claim against the bank, which was on notice since 05/2023 about the award of property.

PC is seeking solution to her liability for paying the full HELOC.
