[WSBARP] referral - client's furniture missing or damaged after interstate move

Potential client moved from CA to WA, used a moving company that proceeded to lose some furniture and badly damage other items. It included some antiques and family heirlooms, and probable damages are around $30K. He is getting the runaround from the moving company's insurer.

A colleague alerted me to a federal law covering moving companies,
https://www.fmcsa.dot.gov/protect-your-move/handling-disputes

Anyone interested, or do you know someone who handles these types of claims? Could be partly insurance fair practice in addition to the federal law.

Sincerely,

Eric
