[WSBARP] Tax Foreclosure

Hi Listmates,

I’m in the process of a judicial foreclosure in Pierce County. We have been informed that due to arrears in property tax, the County plans on filing their own foreclosure on May 9, with an auction to take place on November 4.

Do you see any issues affecting my existing foreclosure, especially if I can accomplish a sheriff’s sale before their November date?

A Foreclosure Avoidance Coordinator at Pierce County told me that their lawsuit does not prevent the sale or transfer of ownership at any time during their process, up until the day of their auction of November 4, but I would rather hear if you all had any experience with this.
