Hello list mates,
The dreaded timeshare question! I am the attorney for a Trust and the Trustee says the Decedent had a time share. Nobody wants it and Decedent had no children. It is in California and the deed is in Decedent's name. Of course the time share company is being difficult and won't take it back and keeps charging fees to the Decedent.
There are so many scams with companies that will say they will get rid of a timeshare, so Trustee doesn't want to go there. Everything was in Trust (except the timeshare) so no probate needed to be opened.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Jenna Brozik
