[WSBARP] Transferring Mobile Home in a Park

You probably already know this but if not, you may want to make sure that the buyer knows that possession may be subject to any claim of the park and that the buyer, on his/her/their own has the obligation to apply for residency in the park.   This has already likely been done but I’ve seen situations where someone bought the mfg home and was not eligible for the park for one reason or another.

It is just like a car. There should be a title that they sign off on plus a bill of sale. There will also be an excise tax affidavit to be filed.

I believe the trustee can transfer title to the beneficiary at the DOL, fill out their bill of sale form, and also the MHETA form at the treasurer's office and that should be everything.
