Client is an heir to a person who joined some type of club. The State of
California has sent notice of settlement of a lawsuit indicating client may
receive several thousand dollars. However, the letter indicates client must
send in copy of her social security card, driver's license, and other
documents. It seems odd a person would have to send in the SS card and the
driver's license should prove their identity. Have any of you dealt with
this before?
