[WSBARP] Irrevocable Trust to hold child's Soc Sec payments

Hi All,

My client's wife is deceased, they have a 14 year old daughter who is receiving Social Security benefits from the mother's death. Client (the father) is the representative payee, has a good job and wants to create an irrevocable trust with his daughter as the beneficiary, where he can deposit the SocSec funds. The goal is to dedicate the funds for the daughter, but restrict her direct access until she is older (age 25 or so).

Offhand, does anyone see any red flags with creating a Trust for the daughter where the father would deposit any unused funds?
