[WSBARP] Surveillance cameras

Listmates,  I know that surveillance camera placement has been a bone of contention for many years but I have not had a reason to deal with it for the last 15 years. Can anyone point me to some guidance on the topic?  My client wants to point his cameras down his property line ( not at a neighbor's house) to record trespassers.   Thanks in advance for any guidance.   Craig
