Hi all...a timely add-on to this thread just came up for me: 12-unit condo in Seattle is seeking referrals for a management company to take some weight off the shoulders of the board.  Any recommendations of good organizations that can cater to small communities like this?

This is likely a decision regarding whether to hire a community association management company rather than continue to self managed the HOA.  If the association members decide to afford it, it is generally a great idea.

A small condo complex has the HOA board president proposing that the HOA be transferred over to a property management company. Before I did some digging here, I wanted to ask if anyone has ever heard of this, and whether this is even legal.
