Jon,

Ask a local title company to search the records for a recorded title elimination on the property. Also, some counties put the title elimination data on the tax/assessor record. Check the tax assessor data for the property.

I represent a successor trustee after the death of the trust settlor. I submitted a deed and REETA to transfer property to the beneficiaries of the trust.  The county rejected it because there is a mobile home on the property and told me to either indicate the mobile home title elimination number on the REETA or submit a mobile home REETA as a separate transaction.  How do I find out if title to the mobile home has been eliminated?
