[WSBARP] Tax sale

Hello

 

I have a client who inherited some pretty worthless unimproved timber
property in Grays Harbor County. It's a small parcel, very steep, and is
landlocked. Nobody will buy it because of the lack of access. It's assessed
at a couple thousand dollars.

 

My client just wants rid of it, so his plan is to stop paying the taxes and
let the County sell it. He doesn't care about the money, but I'm wondering
if his doing so will negatively affect his credit or something.

 

Anybody have any idea?
