[WSBARP] Creation of 501c3 ?

Colleagues-

Seeking direction and referrals.

PC facilitates an academic competition for high schools.

Originally, [1974] it was funded by big company, was handed off to a (community) college who orphaned the program, and has since been sustained by volunteers.

There has along the way been decent prize money. Prize dollars were reduced when corporate sponsorship was withdrawn, but the program survived.

PC is hugely motivated to continue the program and is pursuing alternate fund raising-but is not able to manage the dollars through a high school's ASB account because of restrictions on how such dollars can be used.

There appear to be local donors with considerable interest, but no place to hold dollars that can later be used for prize money.

Anyone out there know anyone who can assist?
