Subject: [WSBARP] Real Estate tax Affidavit

 

Client’s former Girlfriend  is transferring ½ of property to client and
client is paying her 5 K in cash and the outstanding Deed of Trust is $100 K
and property assessed value of 150 K. Is there a gift of $20 K, being the
difference between 1/2 of assessed value – DT + 5K? 

 

In the RETA, I am placing the notation on top that the sale is for 50%
partial interest.
