A co-worker’s elderly mother has fallen victim to a scam perpetrated by a landscape contractor in Spokane.  The mother spent almost all of her savings (over $200,000) on a landscaping project originally estimated at only about $14,000.  The family wants to pursue the contractor and the mother’s financial advisor (who they feel had sufficient knowledge that the advisor should have questioned the withdrawals from the mother’s IRA).

Any referrals would be appreciated.
