[WSBARP] Electric surge damage

They already denied the claim stating that the problem was " unforeseeable" and therefore no liability. Electricity is a mystery to me and I avoid playing with if at all possible however as further clarification, I am told that when this transformer blew it dropped one leg of the 3 phase power that runs the elevators and HVAC on 3 buildings. With only 2 of the 3 phases it caused the motors burn up. Several thousand dollars of damage.

There is usually a claims procedure that you will need to undertake and to exhaust your administrative remedies.

List mates, does anyone have experience with holding power companies liable for damage caused by power issues. My understanding is that a transformer blew and ended up burning up elevator motors and HVAC in three buildings. Utility says unforeseen so not their liability. Any input?? Thanks, Craig
