Anyone with Medicare billing (erroneous, not fraudulent) experience - help would be appreciated---- practitioner erroneously charged Medicare for services which were rendered all within the rules, and no issues regarding care --- issue is a regulation requiring the practitioner to be within certain time and distance from nurse practitioner. Practitioner wants to notify Medicare and is concerned about repercussions. I am looking for someone with experience with Medicare situation, not fraud, etc.; just a past mistake that for future has been remedied. Any assistance will be appreciated.
