'Mates, here is the potential matter in a very small nutshell:

PC is financially helping a Guy (G) in a nasty dissolution action. G has
signed a promissory note for the funds advanced, secured by a DOT on the
still-marital home. The DOT was signed by G only and not Spouse. S has now
sued seeking to set aside that DOT. PC wants to protect his security
interest.

Anyone interested? This matter is beyond my scope of practice and I am sure
there are others who can quickly and efficiently get on board. I will
forward replies received here.
