Look at RCW 60.04.081.  This lays out the process for removing bad liens.
In addition to the timing problem, did the contractor provide proper
pre-lien notices?

I have a mechanics lien that has filed on a client's property. It was filed
after the 90 day period and I need to get it cleared. How do I do that
exactly? Obviously I don't have a case number, so do I file suit to do that,
or what?

If someone could give me lien clearance 101 advice, I would appreciate it.
