[WSBARP] forfeiture

Question for which I would appreciate some guidance:

Buyers wired money to seller's bank after giving of declaration of forfeiture mailing for recording. Seller rejects wire and bank returns it to sending bank.
Is it required for seller to send letter to buyer informing them of the rejected payment?  Would an email be sufficient?  Or would you perhaps not respond at all?

I appreciate any responses...
