[WSBARP] New Secretary of State Online Filing Portal - "$1, 000 filing fee"

On Monday I filed for a new client LLC using the new Secretary of State web
portal which anonymously deducted $1,000 from my business bank account in
the form of five separate filing fees instead of the $200.  The SofS
receipt I received only showed $200.  Yesterday I will went online to check
my bank account and noticed the erroneous $800 in charges.



After forever on the phone and zero help from the first line Secretary of
State employee I asked for her supervisor.  The supervisor was apologetic
and indicated they have had “lots of problems” with the new portal. Not
isolated.  This morning the SofS was kind enough to return my $800.



I thought the $1,000 filing fee is a new way to fund *McCleary. *J
