Is it within the designated reservation lands of the tribe? Not all lands owned by the tribes fall within the reservation lands.

Subject: [WSBARP] Self Help Eviction on Leased Land

All (LL/T types):

I have a client who has been the victim of what appears to be a self-help eviction. The land is in Snohomish County, but my client tells me it is "leased land" from the tribe. When you look it up, it looks like any other land in Snohomish County (as far as the assessor or recorder is concerned). Taxes are paid to Sno Co, etc.

Do the RCWs apply to this land, or is this a tribal issue?

Thanks for your help in advance.

Best,
Scott Hildebrand
