Yes, I think that’s the right expert.  I see it as needing someone who can certify that the bacteria have been eliminated and, I hope, the same person who can test to be sure all the mold have been removed so my client’s tenant can move back in.

I assume you are looking for an industrial hygienist, and not a building inspector.  I have used Gregg Middaugh in the past, PBS Engineering + Environmental (2517 Eastlake Ave. East, Ste. 100, Seattle, 98102, 206.233.9639) and was pleased.
