Subject: [WSBARP] Need Seattle landlord tenant referral - rep landlord

Listmates- I have an existing client with a potential problem with tenants inside Seattle city limits. I know Seattle has special rules which I do not know and have no desire to learn so I need to refer out this matter. Basic facts. Tenant moved out and landlord discovered that tenant had sublet rooms to people who have no intention of leaving. Subtenants have now shut off their own water and called the city to claim retaliation etc. Obviously these are professional squatters that know how to create problems. City has told landlord that even if the water was not turned off they are going to fine him $4,000 per tenant if they get another complaining call. Not sure what planet Seattle is on but these rules make no sense to this country boy. If this is your wheelhouse please let me know and I can refer my client to you for help. Thanks.
