Best bet is to contact Dennis Helmick at Exchange Facilitators and let them take care of the exchange.

Subject: [WSBARP] 1031 for residences????

Is there any chance that a residential house swap can qualify as tax deferred exchange under 1031 or similar "loophole"?? houses are both 1.4 million and occupied by owners; there is significant gain at risk.
