[WSBARP] Bellevue shortplatting referral

[Marc Holmes]

Here's the 4th response.  This attorney was highly recommended by another
attorney recently as an expert on condominiums.  Condominium creation and
short platting are different but are within the same sphere of practice so
I'd expect him to be quite capable.

Marc,

 

1.      I will send you an email later tonight.

 

2.      I do a substantial amount of work with Bellevue and other Eastside
cities for short plats, subdivisions and condominiums.

 

3.      The first issue will be to determine what the zoning, building and
other codes permit for improvements.

 

4.      The second issue will involve short plat vs. "airspace" condominium.

 

5.      But with only two Lots, the problem is always legal and survey fees.

 

6.      I have a few suggestions to make to minimize those fees.

I need a referral to attorney very familiar with City of Bellevue
shortplatting.  Potential client owns a very desirable property and is
routinely approached by agents and developers.  Client would like to sell
some of the property but remain in the family home.  I'll pass along all
