All - Is this proposed trust a form of “Safe Harbor Trust”?

Subject: [WSBARP] Medicaid Spend-down Shelter

Let me rephrase the question I tried to send out earlier today.

I would like to know what devise is use in order to have people put their assets into a Irrevocable Trust that will protect them from the medicaid spend-down provisions?

I have done special needs trusts to protect the beneficiaries public assistance but I have not done a Trust to protect assets fromthe Medicaid spend down.

I have the Washington Elder Law handbook from the LawLibrary. Can someone point me in the right direction. I am willing to learn.

Thank you.
