I have clients who have kept a vehicle for the two year SOL and then kept or sold it; Use a form K (DOL) and honestly say provision has been made for debts.

There is a possibility it could be sold for scrap. There is an affidavit process through the Department of Licensing. Looks similar to a small estate affidavit.

Advised client to walk away from brother’s estate since it is deep in debt and no purpose in opening probate. No one else coming forward to handle the estate.
However, one very low value vehicle of deceased brother is in client's driveway. What can/should she do with it? (she should have just left it with the tow company which could have kept it for nonpayment of tow fees, but too late for that now)

Thanks!
