I think this is what you're asking about--J

  RULE MAR 6.3
                               JUDGMENT ON AWARD

Judgment. If within the 20-day period specified in rule 7.1(a) no party has
properly sought a trial de novo, the prevailing party on notice as required by
CR 54(f) shall present to the court a judgment on the award of arbitration for
entry as the final judgment. A judgment so entered is subject to all provisions
of law relating to judgments in civil actions, but it is not subject to
appellate review and it may not be attacked or set aside except by a motion to
vacate under CR 60.

Subject: [WSBARP] Arbitration Converted to a Judgment?

A little litigation guidance is appreciated here. I recently won a private binding arbitration decision for a client over a dispute about the proper interpretation of a CC&R. The arbitrator agreed with my interpretation and the HOA needs to back off trying to enforce the CC&Rs using its erroneous interpretation. No attorney fees were awarded. I vaguely recall that there is a procedure to file the arbitration decision with the superior court. Does it matter if there are no attorney fees to collect? Would the arbitration decision carry more weight (from a compliance standpoint), if it was converted into a judgment? Thanks for your guidance.
