                I have done them without the PR being present so you
should not need him or her there unless there are some special
circumstances.  You can do this in the ex parte courtroom so you don’t
have to note it on the calendar.  You should file your initial pleadings
and pay the filing fee through LINX first.

I have commenced probates in several counties by mail.

 

My mailed packet to Pierce County was just returned marked “personal
appearance required to commence probate.”

 

Will a “personal appearance” by me as the attorney suffice or does the
court expect the PR to appear with me?
