[WSBAPT] EIN applications on line

Used to happen periodically.  Lately has been happening with increasing frequency – which means we’re getting very good at faxing it quickly.  Regular mail only in extreme circumstances.

Just need to remember that for years it was by mail only, and by mail back once issued.  We used to assume it could be a month before a number was assigned.

The last 3 times I tried to get an EIN online, I received a message stating it can't be obtained on-line and that I must either fax the application or send it via regular mail before a number will be issued.  Is anyone else out there facing this issue?
