[WSBAPT] Referral for Potential Elder Financial Abuse and/or Guardianship Matter

Hello listmates -

A colleague of mine received the following inquiry. Any referrals to a suitable lawyer in the Seattle area would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

My uncle is 89 and in failing health. After years of consistent contact, he and his partner (possibly spouse, they are same sex) as of last year have moved to another senior living facility and are refusing to share their address.  This is completely inconsistent with my uncle's behavior over many years.  Their health and financial matters appear to be controlled now by his partner's daughter, as PoA.  She is refusing to provide me any information.  I have some public records research indicating the daughter has a criminal and bankruptcy record.  I would like to consult an elder law attorney on what recourse I may have to locate my uncle and ensure he is safe.
