[WSBAPT] IRS EIN application online not working?

Hi, Eric – I received the same error yesterday.  It was code 101, which I looked up means that there are other entities with the same name so it needs to be done manually.  I don’t know if that is a cop out or actually true.  I am going to try and add the date to the Trust name to see if that works.

Hello all—Is anyone else getting an error message from the IRS online EIN application, saying that they can’t provide an EIN online, and I have to fax or mail in the SS-4?
