Hi Terry,
The last time I was PGAL for minors that were receiving a wrongful death settlement, the Plaintiff Counsel was pushing a structured settlement. I ended up going along with it, but I pushed back on having the annuity extend past the 18th birthday. So we annuitized each beneficiary's share to mature on their 18th birthday. The annuity company works with a Pooled Trust company, so it keeps the management costs down. Here are my contacts for the structured settlement folks, I expect they would have Spanish speakers on staff given it is a large national company:

I am the Settlement Guardian ad Litem for 3 minor children whose mother was killed in a horrible truck accident. They were adopted by their auntie and live in WA. When the case is finished, they will each have separate tort settlements of around $825,000.00. I need to set up trusts or blocked accounts for each one. I prefer using a trustee or fund administrator who speaks Spanish, as their adoptive mother does not speak any English. Ideas about what protective vehicle to use and who can manage that for the children? The mother is not a candidate.
