Anybody have a template they can share for making a visual map of a complex family tree genealogy? (Word, or Excel, or...?)

There were LOTS of siblings on both parents' sides. It's gonna be a bit nutty.

We will be hiring a professional to help sort it out, but in the meantime I would appreciate a way to trace our findings, other than my notebook scribbles.

My google search wasn't helpful.
