I recently closed an estate by filing a Decl of Completion.
Then, in the 30 days to object timeframe, Administrator was served with tort litigation s/complaint as a defendant.
* Did the Estate close and I now need to re-open and have court reissue Letters?
* Insurance company has assigned defense counsel to represent the Admin. in the tort as a defendant
* Is there a notice to file informing the Court and heirs that the Estate DID not close and Letters remain intact?
Never had this happen before.
