Not to worry, Jordan. Competitors generally don’t enter into any discussion regarding pricing because it isn’t worth violating antitrust laws. Antitrust laws are a group of federal (Sherman Act, Clayton Act, Federal Trade Commission Act) and similar state laws that prevent problems with unfairness with competition and monopolies. It’s probably not worth reading every law and case on the topic, but suffices to keep somewhere in the back of your mind that you should avoid bringing up pricing in discussion with a competitor lest it be misconstrued.
Please don’t be afraid to ask your next question, and if you are, give me a call on my direct line below. I may not have the answer, but am happy to collaborate with you if you get stuck on something.

Can someone please provide me with this law, so I am in the future informed?
I am not agreeing to fix any rates. I am just trying to learn about some practical things that aren't taught in law school and hard to learn in practice.
I am feeling a bit afraid to ask any further questions, here.
Thanks.

We put a lot of cost information on our website, however, I am very uncomfortable with your question due to antitrust laws.

Subject: [WSBAPT] Pricing Estate Planning
Hi everyone,
I wonder if people might be able to let me know what going rates are for married couple estate planning, for example if they need a will, trust, both POAs, healthcare directive, or the above without a trust, or if you do any itemized pricing.
Thank you,
Jordan
