[WSBAPT] Deed question

As simplistic as it sounds, I would recommend just saying "John and Jill, husband and wife." After all, I suspect you will be using a Quitclaim Deed under which all interests of John and Jill will be transferred to the RLT, no matter how those interests were acquired. Although I am not certain that it would be necessary, you could also say, "John and Jill, individually and as husband and wife."

Subject: [WSBAPT] Deed question

Original deed states that the grantees are John and Jill, husband and wife, and Joan, a single person. Later a deed is recorded from Joan, unmarried, to "John and Jill, husband and wife as joint tenants with right of survivorship".

How should I now refer to John and Jill in the deed to their RLT?
